A driver training & mentoring program that equips young people who are overcoming adversity, to obtain their drivers licence. Volunteers are required for transporting of Young People and Children in care. Transporting will include from Inner North DCP office to other Family contact locations, eg schools and libraries. Transporting of the children is with use of government vehicles.

We are looking for driving mentors for young novice drivers aged 16 to 25 who have barriers to completing their 50 'log book' hours to obtain their driver's license. A caring and non-judgmental approach and an ability to build a positive rapport whilst promoting safe road use are vital. A car is provided
