The Emerald Hill Library is seeking volunteers to assist local High School students with their homework tasks. The High school students particularly need assistance with Maths, Science, English and various school projects. As these students progress to High School they require more advanced assistance with their homework tasks, and the Library is seeking to engage volunteers who can support these High School Students with their homework tasks.

The purpose of this role is to assist with sorting and processing of incoming goods to sell in Retail shops. This role also includes assisting with the pickup and delivery of stock for the Save the Children Australia shops on a cyclic and needs basis well as the delivery and collection of donated goods from members of the public.

We support the social inclusion of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Ucan2 runs once a week for 16 weeks at multiple sites across Melbourne. What does a Live-In Mentor do? As a Live-In Mentor within our Inside Out program, you will reside in a comfortable and well-maintained property alongside another Mentor and 1-2 young people that are seeking to transition into independent living. The volunteer tutor provides educational support after school hours to secondary students enrolled in local schools in the City of Whittlesea. The Settlement team provide support to clients who have arrived to Australia in the past five years. This program supports the integration of settlement students into mainstream education systems. Whittlesea Community Connections is a Child Safe organisation and all volunteers are required to undergo a Working with Children Check and a Police Check.

Support a young person, when a parent/guardian is not available, by attending police interviews at Tarneit, and Police Stations in the West.
