He/she is responsible for promoting the Society as an organisation of choice in regard to family history research and membership. The homestead was built between 1862 and 1880 for John Maley (King of the Greenough Flats), miller, storekeeper, hotel proprietor, entrepreneur and father of 14 children. The museum examines the social life of the Front Greenough Flats from Aboriginal time until today. View the historic trees and wander the community vege garden. Open daily 8.30am to 3.00pm

The role of Emergency Relief Volunteers is designed to provide valuable assistance to Council Officers in the set-up and smooth operation of the Emergency Relief Centre which aims to support community members who may be affected by an emergency. Tasks could include setting up the relief centre to run efficiently, assisting in meeting, greeting and directing community members seeking refuge and assistance, organising food and drink for visitors and community members.
