On Sunday 11 August Muscular Dystrophy will stage Run for Strength - a fun run/walk around Princes Park. We need volunteers to act as marshalls around the course making sure participants dont go the wrong way. It is an easy job but one that is crucial to the success of the event. Its a wonderful celebration of able bodied people coming together with those with a disability.

We are looking to superstar volunteers to help us with all things MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride, in particular photographing the event. This event supports almost 5,500 Queenslanders living with MS and other neurological conditions, and we cannot pull off events like this without our amazing volunteers.

As the Events Coordinator for Refugee Week, you will lead the planning and execution of a series of events featuring speakers, panel discussions, and performances aimed at raising awareness and celebrating the contributions of refugees to society. Your role will involve coordinating logistics, managing program development, and ensuring seamless event operations. The Event will be held in Monash City Council Area VIC 3148 on Saturday 22 June 2024

The Bindaring Clothing Sale is the oldest and largest pre-loved annual charity fashion event in W.A. Nearly 2,000 bargain hunters flock to this sale each year. Now in its 6th decade, this volunteer-led event raises funds for the Australian Red Cross programs here in W.A.

Red Cross Shops sell new and donated clothes, accessories, and homewares to raise funds to help people in need. Each year, we rescue 2,750 tonnes of clothing from landfill, give opportunities to 5000 volunteers, and generate funds to help Red Cross support vulnerable people in Australia and around the world. The proceeds from the sale of items support the vital everyday work of Red Cross, providing relief in times of crisis and care where it's needed most.

Join Local Land Services and Clean4Shore to remove waste from our precious waterways, protect migratory bird habitat, and contribute towards the Australian Marine Debris Initiative citizen science program. Working on the Hunter River, our team sets out in Clean4Shore’s barge to collect debris from mangroves and tidal flats. The debris collected will be sampled to add records to the AMDI database before sending to landfill.

The Giants Netball team have partnered with Legacy to commemorate our veterans through the act of handing out rosemary at their game against the Melbourne Vixens. We will need volunteers hand out the rosemary sprigs and collect donations from the public.
