The volunteer will support the group facilitators with the weekly hosting of parent gatherings. This group aims to engage isolated families and encourage network building! Wednesdays from 9.30am-10.30am. We do ask that volunteers can commit to the role for 6 months or longer.

Play a vital role in the maintenance of the ASWC's Food Pantry service. The primary task is to ensure that the ASWC foodbank is replenished weekly, via driving trips to Foodbank and Secondbite, in order to provide for vulnerable people in the community.
Want to work collaboratively with the ASWC staff to deliver Saturday Programs. This support can include: delivering social activities for people seeking asylum, assist with collecting food parcels at the centre, administrative tasks, general cleaning and maintenance of the centre, and contributing ideas for Saturday excursions. Play an essential role in the management and maintenance of the Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre Food Relief Program. Support the consumers and staff of the Centre by: picking up and organising food and material donations; assisting consumers to choose food and material items from the ASWC food bank, contacting clients to confirm food relief appointments.

Uniting Op Shop Albert Park is an iconic shop, and a decades-long established part of the community. Volunteers are the heart of our organisation and a crucial part of our op shops. There are exciting opportunities for you to join the Albert Park team - and know the work you do will have a direct impact, supporting Emergency Relief programs and the local community.
If you have great customer service skills, join our Emergency Relief team to assist delivery of services to consumers. Our refurbished Centre assists vulnerable members of the community by providing food, showers, clothes washing, material and financial aid support.
Receive clients with referrals for a food parcel from Uniting Wodonga. Food is to be given according to the instruction on the food voucher referral form. • On food delivery days, assist other volunteers to restack shelves from delivered pallets. • Assist with keeping the centre clean and tidy. • Maintain records of consumer food parcels according to the system in place.
Conduct interviews with people who present to Uniting Wodonga seeking assistance with food or other forms of financial relief. • Facilitate referral to other programs of Uniting and other agencies as appropriate. • Assist with administrative tasks including answering the phone and taking messages as directed. • Maintain records of people’s visits according to the data system in place.
We are looking for Volunteer Drivers/Jockeys with a valid drivers license to join a passionate team in our Emergency Relief Food Program. The role involves sorting and collection of food from our donors.
Live-in volunteer position. Be a positive, mature and responsible role model to young people living within transitional accommodation, by demonstrating appropriate independent living skills, self-care, communication and behavior. The volunteer will live at the property rent-free. This position is open to individuals and couples.
