Every month CVA is hosting a Community Wetlands Rehabilitation day at Landing Lights Wetlands! Join us and help protect and restore wetlands, so these special environments can continue to do their vital work to ensure that we all have clean air, fresh water and safe futures.
Join us on Threatened Species Day at Landing Lights Wetlands for an ecology tour with Dr Meredith Brainwood from Applied Ecology. Learn about our incredible local flora and fauna species and help protect them by taking part in a weeding blitz on site.
Join us in celebration of Shorebirds Week at Landing Lights Wetlands with a Birdwatching tour hosted by Greg McLachlan from Sydney Pelagics! Learn how to collect and upload data to contribute to the research and conservation of the remarkable bird species that occupy the wetlands using the eBird App - one of the world’s largest biodiversity-related science projects.
Help us to monitor the recovery of native plants and learn how you can create a wildlife-friendly garden by propagating plants.
