We are seeking interested individuals to assist in our Young Vinnies Conference. The core work is providing Kids Days Out. KDO's are activities for young people aged 6-12 on weekends or during school holidays. Of particular need is assistance with our Conferences home visitation program. This involves the development of a genuine connection with each person seeking assistance to get a clearer indication of the person's situation so that ways to assist more effectively can be developed.

We are looking for volunteers for our Traralgon Soup Van! SVDP Assistance Centre 41 - 43 Kay Street Traralgon (corner Breed and Kay Street)

Do you: •Have a passion for giving a 'hand up' to individuals experiencing disadvantage? •Love giving back to your local community? •Enjoy engaging with people from all walks of life?

Our Education Program volunteers are passionate about learning and seek to motivate the young participants on our programs with this enthusiasm. They use a growth mindset, strength based approach to student driven learning. You may work with a small group of students to develop a love of reading and discussing of books. It will be incredibly motivating seeing the students develop in their education thanks to your support.

The role of the Vinnies NILS Support volunteer is to assist the Vinnies NILS office in various administrative functions. They need to be reliable and strive to service our applicants with integrity, honesty and care. Vinnies NILS is a No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) provider offering no interest loans of up to $1,500 to people on low incomes for the purchase of essential goods and services. Just last year, Vinnies NILS helped 286 households with loans totalling $275,687.
