The activity is held Mondays 2 pm to 3.30 pm weekly at Kingston. Volunteers assist the Support Workers, with group activities by providing a welcoming, nurturing environment.

    CS#1 is looking for volunteers who enjoy walking, singing or playing musical instruments to assist those in our community to maintain an active social life through regular social outings and activities to promote wellbeing and social harmony within our community. The Mixed Bag Singing Group supports one another with a sing along to piano, ukelele and guitar. No requirement to be a 'singer', come along and support the Activity Group Worker on Wednesday afternoons from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.

  6. Learning for Wellbeing Mentor

    Learning for Wellbeing is a project run in partnership with schools and community groups. It aims to ensure children feel connected to their family and community, have a sense of confidence, an increased ability to regulate their emotions and are better able to connect with peers in a healthy and rewarding way. The Learning for Wellbeing Mentor provides support to individuals, or small groups of students, focusing on social and emotional learning activities that are facilitated by CS#1 staff.
