Assist clients who are facing transport disavantage to attend their medical appointments and social outings through our free transport services

WFC provides emergency food relief to those experiencing financial hardship or food insecurity. Whittlesea Food Collective is a central point of donation and collection of food supplies for the community. The WFC Driver will be responsible in picking up and delivering food and supplies to community members in need.

The Women’s Driving Program will be delivered by Whittlesea Community Connections. This program is available to women from migrant and refugee communities living in Whittlesea and its surrounds, who want to learn how to drive and apply for a Victorian driver’s license. The Volunteer Bilingual Driver Mentor position supports WCC’s Women’s Driving Program. This program provides an opportunity for women in the City of Whittlesea to work towards getting their Victorian Driver’s License. This program aims to support culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) women who may be at risk of being socially isolated, become more independent and want to access formal and informal support networks.
