The Settlement team provide support to clients who have arrived to Australia in the past five years. This program supports the integration of settlement students into mainstream education systems. Whittlesea Community Connections is a Child Safe organisation and all volunteers are required to undergo a Working with Children Check and a Police Check.

Wood work class is a program of Mernda Community House/ Learn Local. It is an activity that runs each Friday during school terms where people can come together to learn how to use tools, make or repair things made of or using wood, get involved in small construction projects and build their confidence to attend to home maintenance.
