    The role of a Community Listener is to be an understanding ear to visitors. Community listeners will need to be present in the centre for chosen times, and engage with community members as needed. The Community Connectors team take referrals from Community Listener and provide information, links or resources to those seeking further support. The Community Connectors role can be undertaken remotely or in person with flexible scheduling (bookings), rather than shift based.

    The Norlane Community Centre Volunteer plays an important role in working with and supporting the Office Manager and Coordinator in the day-to-day running of the NCC. This can include volunteering in the garden/maintenance area, office administration and general wellbeing. We will work with you closely to find your best fit and understand your interests and passion.
