The role consists of one full day per fortnight (Thurs) when a community lunch is prepared and served and alternate half days each fortnight (Thursday) for menu preparation and team meetings. As the Volunteer Kitchen Team Leader, you will lead a team of kitchen volunteers in the: * planning * shopping * preparation * and serving of a community lunch each fortnight whilst adhering to safe food practices. You will also be able to demonstrate sustainability & environmental practices by composting kitchen waste.

Are you available on a Wednesday? Do you like the thought of helping out 'Front of House'? As the Cafe 175 Assistant Volunteer, you will be assisting the Kitchen Manager to provide meals to the customers. You will: * serve tea and coffee to customers in a timely manner * ensure supplies are maintained * follow safe food handling & storage directives * take and deliver customer orders * clear & clean tables after each setting * follow instructions

Are you available on a Wednesday? Do you like the thought of helping out 'Back of House' in a Team Leader role within a kitchen? Within this role you will be coordinate and manage the kitchen activities to facilitate Cafe 175. You will: * Manage, monitor and participate in the preparation of meals and refreshments by * Assisting with the 12-week menu planning * Allocating food preparation and kitchen tasks * Creating schedules to ensure menu items are available by cafe opening times
