This position plays a key role in providing overarching volunteer management across the Community Centre. The Volunteer Support Officer will be responsible for watching all forms of contact with the Centre and making contact with anyone enquiring about volunteering at Woodcroft Morphett Vale Neighbourhood Centre. The role also entails, in accordance with the Volunteer Management Operating Procedure, advertising, selecting, and recruitment of new volunteers, as positions come available.

This position plays a key role in providing overarching management across the organisation, with supervision and support to all rostered kitchen and food event volunteers e.g community events, fundraising BBQ's, volunteer celebrations . This is a people recruitment and management role and requires very good communication skills.

Are you a people person with the ability to communicate with different levels of people. This role is to plan, implement and review the Gardening activity at the Centre. You will be part of a team communicating the groups activities to the Centre Management and Office Staff. Gardening knowledge would be a definite advantage.
