The Monsignor Hawes Heritage Centre (MHHC) is a state-of-the-art interpretive centre, within the grounds of St Francis Xavier's Cathedral, that tells the story of architect-priest Monsignor John Cyril Hawes. The Monsignor Hawes Museum Attendant will engage with visitors to help them appreciate the wonderful story of Monsignor John Cyril Hawes and to take the opportunity to visit the many places he built in the Midwest and Gascoyne region of WA.

The Maritime Museum of Townsville collects stories and objects related to North Queensland's maritime heritage and has as its customers the local community, schools and tourists. It was established in 1986 and features a range of thematic displays, including wars in the Pacific, Port history, the evolution of ships and the Yongala shipwreck. We have a range of exciting artefacts that have been recently donated and need to be photographed and uploaded to our museum collection. If you have your own photography equipment and are interested in supporting this project, please get in touch.

The Bradman Museum shop sells a curated selection of new and vintage collectables, books, sport apparel, mementos, children’s toys and more. If you have experience in designing store layouts and visual merchandising displays to maximise customer experience and sales potential, we’d love to learn from you. We also have an online store front which we are in the process of redesigning on top of doing a merchandising refresh with brand-new branding thanks to our design partners.

This is an opportunity to get to know our service and see the benefit of donations the community share with us in their drive to support disadvantaged or struggling families as well as the organisation. Donations come in from the community to stock out crisis accommodation properties with household items and what we don't use there we sort for our thrift shop.
