The Hunter Cancer Hub is based in the Canteen office in Newcastle and is an exciting new project, launched in early 2022 that will act as the central point between those who are impacted by cancer and support services. The Hunter Cancer Hub (HCH) Office Administration Volunteer will play a pivotal role in supporting families and individuals who approach The Hub for support.

Volunteer Home Visiting aims to empower families and enhance their social inclusion through building their confidence and connection to their community with the support and companionship of a volunteer. Families are based across the Gold Coast and matching is based on volunteers' location and family/carers interests, availability and experience and the goals identified by the family. Approved volunteers agree to provide mentoring and friendship to a young person between the ages of 7 and 17. They commit to spending quality time with a carefully selected young person from a vulnerable or disadvantaged background for approximately 2 hours per fortnight for a period of 12 months. We provide free counselling to young people across Perth, Metro and Peel regions. Young people accessing counselling can also access our free 1 - 1 mentoring program. Youth Focus delivers frontline services and education programs which aim to reduce symptoms associated with suicide, depression, anxiety and self-harm, and build long-term mental wellbeing to help young people reach their full potential.

We have a large suite of programs to offer the public. We are expanding into the City of Knox from Break 40 Cafe at 40/1880 Ferntree Gully Rd. We need local volunteers to assist us to recruit participants to our programs and to help cement these programs as regular fixtures for the local community.
