We only recruit new members who live in the Mundaring Shire & surrounding suburbs, due to the travel times required for training and call outs.     The SWORD SES Logistics Unit of Western Australia, are looking for fit, able men and women, prefer retirees/semi retired persons who are available to deploy/assist in the event of a major incident which can include fire, search or cyclone. The volunteers come in on one training night per week, be available for call outs and deployments. Truck driving and warehouse stores roles are all included. Call outs/deployments can occur at any time. Can last for 1-7 days, or more.
