Are you a confident and patient driver looking to make a positive impact in your community? We're seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Driving Mentors!

Would you like to assist refugees get a positive start to settling into their new life in Australia?

The Department for Child Protection Volunteer Driver would transport children and young people to and from family contact, appointments and may also assist with learner driver training. Some out of hours, long distance and overnight travel may be required.

You will be matched with families and tasks based on your experience, skills and interests and the family’s needs. We would like you to commit for 12 months and to be flexible when volunteering. The support you are expected to give will vary from family to family and may change during your time with us. We will provide you with adequate training and supervision.
