We are looking for volunteers in the role of Support Worker. The role requirement is to help facilitate and engage in the group program for people whose lives have been impacted by drug and or alcohol addiction.

Every Tuesday afternoon from 3:30pm to 5;pm we have a learning time at Baabayn Aboriginal Corporation. We need volunteers who are willing to give their time to tutoring and/or mentoring Aboriginal children. It is an opportunity to get to know the children and hopefully help them to feel safe. We try to create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and cared about.

Volunteers will assist Elders under the direction of a PAG officer, helping to facilitate planned activities and address the needs of clients in relation to their activity. Volunteers will be expected to help with setting up activity areas, assisting with COVID screening of clients, and assisting with meal service.
