Vision Australia radio put print to audio, and ensure all members of the community have access to community information and news. Volunteers will receive full training to undertake the role, as well as mentoring from fellow radio volunteers.

Cooinda Aged Care Gympie is looking for vibrant and joyful people to assist their Creative Lifestyle team to engage with the residents. You do not have to be an artist or musician, just someone who wants to help people have fun and engagement whilst undertaking creative activities, board games or just being a companion.

Cooinda Aged Care are looking for volunteers to work alongside their Creative Lifestyle staff to help run visual arts workshops and activities. These include, painting, drawing, textiles or sculpture. You have the opportunity to lead or be part of a team. They are also looking for Volunteers who cam provide companionship and join in to facilitate Board Games, Outings, readings or just going for walks or talking to the residents.

The Roundabout Project is a volunteer peer support project that aims to assist participants with Disability to engage with our LGBTIQA+ community encouraging networking and connections. By sharing personal experiences and developing mutual peer-to-peer friendship, participants may gain a greater sense of connection to community and develop a deeper sense of belonging, self-esteem, and interpersonal trust.

The Volunteer Driver is responsible for the transportation of Beyond Blindness Members to various services offered by the organisation including social groups, bus trips and occasional medical/shopping trips and can include one-on-one social time. Volunteers are welcomed as part of the small team in the southern area. All volunteers are given training to assist blind persons. The Volunteer Driver will be required to use their own vehicle which will need to have comprehensive insurance.

Our Day Club provides interests for both our long term clients and those requiring respite. Activities are designed to keep clients interested and active but do require a number of assistants to help each of the clients involved.
