The Policy Writer is member of the SOWFI Governance and Policy Sub-Committee. The position works together with the Sub-Committee and the Board Secretary to support the preparation of both internal and public facing documents, including organisational policies, public facing position statements, responses to government inquiries, and other documents which advocate for the conservation, rescue and rehabilitation of native wildlife in line with SOWFI’s objectives.

The role of the secretary is to prepare, distribute and ensure copies of all the information that is provided by and for the committee are safely stored. This includes the agendas, minutes of previous meetings, reports, the constitution, policies and procedures and membership lists. The secretary is a position elected from the Committee of Management.

This is an important administrative role to support our Board Members. We are seeking expressions of interest from people with good time management, experienced in administrative roles and keen to support the leadership team of Save Our Wildlife Foundation Inc.
