Commitment is bi-monthly for 2hour daytime meetings. BDEC engages with government, community agencies, and the public in order to encourage the preservation of the natural environment in the local area. They undertake a number of practical and administrative initiatives.

Interested in bookkeeping and financials and have two hours a week to spare? We need a suitable person to undertake financial requirements for the Environment Centre. This position is 80% Bookkeeping and reporting to the BDEC committee at bi-monthly meetings and the AGM. Volunteer needs to attend meetings in person.

The Willunga Environment Centre needs Reception Volunteers. Could you: * staff the desk * answer the phone * assist with sales & library/loan duties * general housekeeping * & guide people around the Centre? Being flexible to help out with other tasks as they pop up. Volunteers are encouraged to develop their own projects around the environment. Attend emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls as well as other duties as required. Commitment is approx 60 hours annually, based on 1 shift plus training per month. To continue to operate in your role, you must maintain the competencies required & appropriate level of fitness as roles are physically demanding.
