The Greenough Museum welcomes Volunteers who are enthusiastic and committed to assisting the museum to preserve, document and interpret its collections. Located in a beautifully restored two storey house alongside Maley's Mill, the Greenough Museum offers an insight into a bygone era. The homestead was built between 1862 and 1880 for John Maley (King of the Greenough Flats), miller, storekeeper, hotel proprietor, entrepreneur and father of 14 children. The museum examines the social life of the Front Greenough Flats from Aboriginal time until today. View the historic trees and wander the community vege garden. Open daily 8.30am to 3.00pm

Volunteer Home Visiting aims to empower families and enhance their social inclusion through building their confidence and connection to their community with the support and companionship of a volunteer. Families are based across the Gold Coast and matching is based on volunteers' location and family/carers interests, availability and experience and the goals identified by the family. A Volunteer is matched to provide support one visit per week for 2 hours, over a minimum 6-month period.
