Cairns Children’s Museum is a not-for-profit whose mission is to offer hands-on, interactive, educational exhibits and play spaces for the children in Cairns and surrounds. Our aim is to become a space that inspires children to play, explore, wonder and be curious about all things STEAM. We have a range of exhibits and interactive experiences for children to engage with, including a wind tunnel, the longest kaleidoscope in the southern hemisphere and our imaginative play area, Tiny Town!

We will be planting native vegetation to create Urban Shade Forests, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. Duties are fairly straightforward and will involve preparing food for recess & lunch, collating orders, washing dishes and serving at recess & lunch. No previous experience is needed. We would love to have you join our friendly canteen team! Centrelink volunteers are welcome!

Wirambi Landcare is Western Australian not-for-profit organisation focused on increasing the awareness of our unique wildlife. We offer a wide range of conservation projects in the metro area as well as projects in regional WA.
