The Ashy News Writer and Editor will play a crucial role in communicating with the Ashburton community, sharing updates, stories, and important information through the Ashy newsletter. We are seeking a dedicated person to join our team as the Day Manager at our Op Shop! Our shop offers a variety of items, including furniture, kitchen goods, and clothing, attracting bargain hunters in the community.

Duties involve greeting customers, general cleaning of shop, window dressing, keeping the different areas; eg books, clothing, etc tidy; serving of tea and coffee and assisting with High Teas. Friday Volunteers needed urgently.

They are currently looking for people on all days, especially Monday or Wednesday and/or Friday for a three hour shift 1pm to 4pm and/or Friday morning 10am to 1pm. Duties include serving customers, sorting clothes; hanging, ironing and pricing clothes, and general shop tidying.

Assist with food and drink preparation and serving, providing general advice for patrons while visiting the Tasmanian Arboretum.
