Limbs 4 Life Incorporated is seeking to appoint a volunteer for our Board of Management. We are a dynamic non-profit organisation; established to provide information, support and access to resources for people affected by limb loss. Limbs 4 Life advocate for people with limb loss and their carers to state and federal government departments.

Volunteering with Valley RDA is a very rewarding experience assisting riders with varied abilities to reach their goals as a rider whilst improving their physical mental and emotional well being. HorsePower Hills has provided recreational horse riding sessions for children and young people with diverse abilities for over 40 years. This is an exciting time for HorsePower Hills as it progresses building a new riding centre and expanding its riding programs to meet community need. We require a committed, confident person to develop and lead the fundraising program. You will work from home and will be supported by the elected Committee/any fundraising subcommittee that is create.

To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by undertaking a range of Property Maintenance tasks.

To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre Equine programs by participating in tasks as directed by the Coach. Equine program assistants have a primary role to support RDA Coaches for sessions.

To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by assisting with horse preparation, leading of horses in program sessions, assistance with life skills/groundwork sessions and assisting in the pack up and return of horses to the paddock.

To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by being first point of contact for all visitors as well as assisting with volunteer engagement and retention.

To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by assisting with light gardening duties on the property. - This role is not as physically demanding as property maintenance volunteers and may be suitable to someone with physical issues which require minimal lifting or carrying of heavy items.
