We are excited to be expanding the Sir Donald Bradman research library collection with a donation of a significant personal collection in 2024. We are looking for someone to assist with the organisation and cataloguing of this new collection. We are also looking for assistance with the establishment of research library loan partnerships and processes within our broader library network and research librarian services on an ad-hoc basis.

We are embarking on the digitisation of a large historical collection of photographs into the museum collection. This will involve organising, scanning and saving photographs from the archives, and carefully returning to archives. Our lawn mowing assistant role involves supporting refugee families who have just arrived in Australia. It includes visiting homes around the Corio/Norlane area of Geelong and mowing lawns. We offer this service for a limited period of time, whilst the family are settling into life in Australia and learning skills which they may not have ever had the need to do.

Friends of Point Peron is a small group of caring local volunteers who are helping Parks and Wildlife staff look after Cape Peron following the dumping of the Mangles Bay Marina on planning, not environmental, grounds. We grow seedlings from local native seed, plant them and tend them and deal with weeds. We'd love to have your help as often as you are free.
