Administrative assistant is responsible for providing office support to ensure efficient operation of an organisation. This includes handling tasks such as scheduling, correspondence management, record-keeping, and general office duties. Want to volunteer but don't have the time for ongoing volunteering? Passionate about ending poverty? Why not register to be a campaign's volunteer? Volunteer once or twice a year for one or two days and help our Regular Giving team with mail, stocktake and other relevant activities. Notice will be given in advance so you can plan your volunteering days.

Our Cadet Program runs from April to October each year. It is open to kids between the age of 12 - 16. Cadets are trained in various facets of Firefighting and other skills. Teamwork and Communication are a big part of this program and we have had many of our Cadets stay on after turning 16 to become Active Volunteer Firefighters. Cadets may also have the opportunity to go on Camps run by the Brigade, DFES also give Cadets opportunities to go on camps.

The Ravensthorpe VFRS is a dedicated team of people who have a common desire to contribute to their community by providing emergency assistance. We are currently looking for people who are interested in responding to emergencies such as fire and road crash as well as working with the Community to identify and manage local risk.
