  1. Cadet Firefighters

    Our Cadet Program runs from April to October each year. It is open to kids between the age of 12 - 16. Cadets are trained in various facets of Firefighting and other skills. Teamwork and Communication are a big part of this program and we have had many of our Cadets stay on after turning 16 to become Active Volunteer Firefighters. Cadets may also have the opportunity to go on Camps run by the Brigade, DFES also give Cadets opportunities to go on camps.

    Habitat for Humanity Australia is currently the largest and most active organisation in the Southern Highlands area mobilising volunteers to provide extensive, free, practical bushfire recovery and resilience assistance to disadvantaged members of the communities. No skills are required!
