We are seeking dedicated volunteers to serve as Summer School Holiday Program Leaders, taking on the incredible responsibility of providing care and support to these remarkable individuals.

We are seeking a mentor? Support genU Participate client leadership and advocacy group provide opportunities for clients, to express their experiences, feedback, ideas, challenges and concerns about services and business practices.

The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.

Mernda Repair Café will be the first community Repair Program for the community of Whittlesea hosted at the Mernda Community House and outdoor community space. The position purpose is to document the Repair Cafe events. To capture the fun on day, the wins for the day and celebrate our volunteer Repairers, Event volunteers and the Whittlesea community as a whole. We need great video footage to help document our program’s journey, clips used for publicity on social media and reports.
