Cairns Indigenous Art Fair requires event volunteers to help with a variety of positions at Tanks, Convention Centre and 96 Abbott Street in Cairns on 25th to 28th July 2024

Start any date that suits, as long as we are available. Minimum stay two weeks. You work 3.5 days each week. Days are long, from dawn to dusk, but the happy smiling faces of the animals around you will make it all worth it. Duties include daily cleaning of barns and coops, feeding, health checks, light maintenance work, monitoring herd movements and intensive care of ill, old and baby animals. Extra duties may be required when new there are new rescues or infants.

Cork & Fork Festival showcase’s boutique wine from the Mudgee and Hunter Valley regions, locally made spirits, craft beer, food trucks, gourmet food products, bespoke items, and great music in a picturesque location next to the Parramatta River. Million Paws Walk attracts thousands of people and their dogs across Victoria, raising much-needed funds for ‘all creatures great and small’. It is the RSPCA’s major fundraising event of the year and without the generous support of the community and volunteers we would not be able to raise the vital funds needed to care for lost, abandoned and rescued animals. We do everything we can to give each animal a second chance at happiness. Events like Million Paws Walk help us to achieve this.
