We will be planting native vegetation to create Urban Shade Forests, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. Women 18+ can join Girl Guides SA and become a Guide Leader and work with girls and young women. Girl Guide Leaders provide effective leadership of their unit in order to deliver a high quality program to Guides in a safe environment. While working in the Guide Unit you will be part of a team of unit leaders supported by your District Leader. Volunteer Guide Leaders are valued and supported and recognised for their effort.

You'll be actively involved in caring for your local reservoir reserve and enhancing the experience for visitors. Activities include bushcare, revegetation, habitat improvement, biodiversity surveys (e.g. birds, frogs, plants, tree hollows), fish stocking and supporting community events.
