The Hyland House Respite Centre in Petrie is currently looking for volunteers for our Hobby Shed to assist older persons and people with a disability in making items with wood. This includes painting and glueing. No special skills are needed, just patience and an interest in wood crafts.

Do you have just 1 hour per fortnight to spare? Oxley Community Transport is seeking friendly and enthusiastic Volunteer Visitors to spend time with older people who are at risk of social isolation and loneliness.

Can you make a difference by spending time with and supporting older people in a group setting? Intereach coordinate social support groups from our Deniliquin office to help alleviate the burden of loneliness and provide opportunity for social engagement. We are looking for compassionate individuals from all walks of life to provide friendship and companionship to older people in need, delivered in a group setting.
