The Melbourne Documentary Film Festival is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the running of our Festival and Masterclasses from 17th July 2024 to 31st July 2024 The festival will take place at Cinema Nova. The Melbourne Doc Fest each year curates world class features direct from some of the hottest most prestigious documentary film festivals in the world.

Cinemallunga is a non for profit organisation providing Community Cinema events, show casing feature films, with the emphasis on fun & frivolity. Audience participation is highly encouraged. Located in a beautifully restored two storey house alongside Maley's Mill, the Greenough Museum offers an insight into a bygone era. The homestead was built between 1862 and 1880 for John Maley (King of the Greenough Flats), miller, storekeeper, hotel proprietor, entrepreneur and father of 14 children. The museum examines the social life of the Front Greenough Flats from Aboriginal time until today. View the historic trees and wander the community vege garden. Open daily 8.30am to 3.00pm

Live on-site at the Women's Museum of Australia within the secure walls of the heritage-listed Old Alice Springs Gaol! You must have own caravan, (max 2.9m in height) with own shower and toilet. In exchange, we ask for 6 hours on a Saturday and 6 hours on a Sunday and a few hours per week of general light maintenance duties and roster cover when needed with two days per week off, usually Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tidy up of the cross country course includes mowing, painting, picking up of sticks, fence repairs and whipper snippering.

While being protected from the elements in the ship's galley, your role is to welcome visitors to the Amity, to explain what is on board the ship, its history and its role in the foundation of Albany.
