Marine Rescue NSW saves lives on the water, providing 24-hour emergency response, returning thousands of boaters in trouble safely to shore every year. Our Radio Operators provide a vital service for commercial and recreational watercraft along the NSW coastline, using the state’s only public marine radio network.

Come along to our Play and Learn Playgroup at Moorditj Kulungar Kwinana. This session provides learning through play opportunities and a safe space for children and families to connect. The Playgroup is for children aged 0 – 4 years led by our Aboriginal Resource Worker, we provide opportunities for Aboriginal families who visit us to learn about the first 3 years of a child’s life and prepare them for school.

Albany Sea Rescue are looking for volunteers to operate a 2 way radio and computer to talk to mariners who call in when going fishing. They operate 24 hours/7 days per week, with 3 shifts per day. Training will be provided. Will need to sit and pass a National Radio Competency exam.

We provide lost child stops and family meeting points, which act as a trusted meeting place and provide safe refuge for children who become lost. They are also a point for parents to collect free Constable Care safety wristbands to write their contact details on in case of an emergency. Our service increases community safety and reduces risk and trauma for children attending popular events.
