Using your own vehicle, assist those in the community who can't drive due to illness or circumstance get out for medical appointments, funerals, shopping, exercise, social connection. Some drives may be only 100 metres and some as far as 100 kms. Drivers are never asked to do more than they are comfortable with. Some reimbursement is available to cover petrol costs. Drivers are kept connected with a newsletter and monthly morning teas.

We need volunteer drivers who can transport vulnerable people in our community so they can access essential services like medical appointments, shopping, exercise programs. Drivers who use their own cars are reimbursed per kilometre they drive, if they choose to take payment. Driving is a very rewarding role and we provide training and ongoing mentoring. Here is your chance to make a difference! You will be able to achieve this by organising and preparing a weekly/fortnightly/monthly meal for people who may be experiencing, (or who are at risk of) homelessness as well as other vulnerable groups in the community. This volunteer role involves working with a small team of like-minded volunteers who will create a warm & welcoming space for meals to be served, and engage with clients who attend in a respectful and non-judgemental manner.
