The Melbourne Documentary Film Festival is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the running of our Festival and Masterclasses from 17th July 2024 to 31st July 2024 The festival will take place at Cinema Nova. The Melbourne Doc Fest each year curates world class features direct from some of the hottest most prestigious documentary film festivals in the world.

At MiCare, we don't want anybody to be lonely. We are looking for a volunteer, preferably a male, to spend some quality time with an elderly Greek man who lives in an Aged Care Facility in Doncaster East. Your visit may be spent reminiscing, having a talk and a laugh while having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk.

Cinemallunga is a non for profit organisation providing Community Cinema events, show casing feature films, with the emphasis on fun & frivolity. Audience participation is highly encouraged. The shows take place every two months & moviegoers are encouraged to dress up, and get into the spirit of the “shenanigans” that go along with the movie’s theme. From stacking chairs to exotic dancing!! There is something for everyone.

Leigh Place is seeking a volunteer bus driver with an HR licence for 2/3 monthly outings, mainly on Thursday or Friday. Volunteers make an incredible contribution to residents' health and well-being, avoiding social isolation, anxiety and depression.

The Activity Volunteer supports the Lifestyle Coordinator with group activities which enrich the lives of our seniors in Sundale's Aged Care Centres. The activities include bingo, a card game named HOY, art & craft, word games, bus outings and a range of other fun activities which change weekly.
