A Consumer Advisor is a member of our community who can voice a lived experience of health care at Western Health. They participate in committees, focus groups, projects and a range of other activities to ensure the patient perspective is always considered. Consumer Advisors are part of the Western Health community and should reflect the diversity of our community

The Multicultural Hub Canberra (mHub) and St Vincent de Paul Migrant and Refugee Program are excited to announce the formation of our collaborative Multicultural Youth Reference Group. Members will help to inform events, programs and activities that benefit multicultural young people and in turn will help create a space for meaningful youth participation.

The committee looks after the association’s affairs. It has legal duties under the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 (the Act). It is sometimes referred to as the ‘management committee’ or ‘board’.

The Youth Advocacy Group provides an overview of actions in support of young people residing in the City of Whittlesea. The group is youth-led and leads a range of topics pertaining to youth and advocates for issues to be addressed. This opportunity gives young people autonomy and leadership to voice and work towards the changes they’d like to see in their communities.
