We are trying to recruit more volunteers to participate in our hot meal deliveries to homeless people. We are trying to find people who are available on a Sunday late afternoon. If we receive enough interest, we will also start more weekday deliveries

St Brendans provides 2 course hot lunch and shower facilities to the homeless every Friday at the Guide Hall, Watts Road Safety Bay from 11am-2pm. Volunteers can help set-up and prepare meals from 9.30am-11.30am or serve and pack-up from 11.30am-1.30pm.

Working in conjunction with other volunteer chefs on a rotating basis, the primary functions for the role include: planning the menu for a weekly cook-up of 600-800 meals using sourced/donated food and pantry items available, allocating roles and responsibilities to our team.
