The BRIGHT Walk 2024 takes place on Saturday 6 July from 4pm–9pm. 2500 people will walk through the CBD and North Adelaide, raising money for medical research at SAHMRI through sponsorships from friends and family.

Boccia SA is holding our State titles from 8th until 10th June 2024 at The Lights Community and Sports Centre. We are seeking volunteers to help us time keep games via a app on iPads. You will be taught how to do the timekeeping. Each day starts at 8:30am and finishes by 5pm. Events and Festivals We have many annual, as well as one off events that we need volunteer participation. eg; Australia Day Event etc.

Start any date that suits, as long as we are available. Minimum stay two weeks. You work 3.5 days each week. Days are long, from dawn to dusk, but the happy smiling faces of the animals around you will make it all worth it. Duties include daily cleaning of barns and coops, feeding, health checks, light maintenance work, monitoring herd movements and intensive care of ill, old and baby animals. Extra duties may be required when new there are new rescues or infants.
