On Sunday 11 August Muscular Dystrophy will stage Run for Strength - a fun run/walk around Princes Park. We need volunteers to act as marshalls around the course making sure participants dont go the wrong way. It is an easy job but one that is crucial to the success of the event. Want to make a difference in the life of a young person? 1-2 hours a week is all it takes! The Merri-bek TAC L2P Program assists young learner drivers (aged between 16-21) who have no access to a supervising driver or vehicle, to gain the driving experience required to apply for a probationary licence. Volunteer mentors support young people to gain supervised driving experience in an L2P car - no cost to young people or volunteers. Volunteers undertake comprehensive VicRoads training.
