Our priority is to build mutual aid networks around Australia where working people can help other struggling working people by developing essential programs that will help families and individuals being crushed by an unfair system designed for the rich.

CUDL urgently requires cooks to prepare meals at home for distribution at our street kitchen in Whitmore Square in the city. Volunteers will prepare budget meals at home once a month for collection by one of our team of drivers. Meals will go to the growing number of people in Adelaide experiencing homelessness who, otherwise, would go hungry.

The City of Stirling are looking for a volunteer to join our Be Connected program as Digital Mentor. Digital Mentors will provide computer skill development on a one-to-one basis, or to a small group, at Mirrabooka Library.

PCYC Queensland’s Braking the Cycle program supports young people to complete their mandatory 100 hours of supervised driving in a safe and suitable vehicle with a volunteer mentor. Outer East Foodshare collects donated, surplus and rescued food and delivers it to agencies in the Outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne that help families in need. This role will take responsibility for overseeing the deliveries and food collections including responsibility for food safety The role involves overseeing a team of volunteers who will pack, unpack food and may need to re-pack food into smaller units. Must also oversee the record keeping of volumes of food handled

We are looking for driving mentors for novice drivers aged 16-25 who face barriers to completing their required 50 log book hours and obtaining their license. A caring, non-judgemental attitude is required and a car is provided.

St Brendans provides 2 course hot lunch and shower facilities to the homeless every Friday at the Guide Hall, Watts Road Safety Bay from 11am-2pm. Volunteers can help set-up and prepare meals from 9.30am-11.30am or serve and pack-up from 11.30am-1.30pm.
