The Emergency Relief (ER) Volunteer assists clients who are experiencing financial hardship through the provision of food parcels, food voucher, petrol voucher and PBS (chemist) prescriptions. The ER Volunteer is required to meet with clients through scheduled appointments, which are held weekly from Monday – Thursday. Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough.
