The Melbourne Documentary Film Festival is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the running of our Festival and Masterclasses from 17th July 2024 to 31st July 2024 The festival will take place at Cinema Nova. The Melbourne Doc Fest each year curates world class features direct from some of the hottest most prestigious documentary film festivals in the world.

The Sound Mentoring Program provides music mentorship to at-risk young people, helping them to achieve their potential as artists and human beings. Come and join us as mentor! Cinemallunga is a non for profit organisation providing Community Cinema events, show casing feature films, with the emphasis on fun & frivolity. Audience participation is highly encouraged. The shows take place every two months & moviegoers are encouraged to dress up, and get into the spirit of the “shenanigans” that go along with the movie’s theme. From stacking chairs to exotic dancing!! There is something for everyone.

Cooinda Aged Care Gympie is looking for vibrant and joyful people to assist their Creative Lifestyle team to engage with the residents. You do not have to be an artist or musician, just someone who wants to help people have fun and engagement whilst undertaking creative activities, board games or just being a companion.

Cooinda Aged Care are looking for volunteers to work alongside their Creative Lifestyle staff to help run visual arts workshops and activities. These include, painting, drawing, textiles or sculpture. You have the opportunity to lead or be part of a team. They are also looking for Volunteers who cam provide companionship and join in to facilitate Board Games, Outings, readings or just going for walks or talking to the residents.

Activities volunteer to assist with outings and activities with the elderly. Your life experience, empathy and sensitivity will be utilised and ability to listen and promote conversation, and use your engaging personality to reduce social isolation.
