Do you know your way around the socials and have experience in marketing? We are looking for someone to assist our team in this space. Ideally, you could help us put together a basic social media marketing plan and work with our graphics team to develop a range of social media templates. This could be an initial consultation or an ongoing opportunity.

We are excited to be expanding the Sir Donald Bradman research library collection with a donation of a significant personal collection in 2024. We are looking for someone to assist with the organisation and cataloguing of this new collection. We are also looking for assistance with the establishment of research library loan partnerships and processes within our broader library network and research librarian services on an ad-hoc basis.

We are embarking on the digitisation of a large historical collection of photographs into the museum collection. This will involve organising, scanning and saving photographs from the archives, and carefully returning to archives. Don't throw it, repair it! Repair Cafes are a global movement aimed at reducing waste, sharing skills and building community. The Eastside Repair Café launched recently on Hobart’s sunny eastern shore, and is held on the last Saturday of each month. We need more volunteers to help us deliver this wonderful community initiative, doing a range of roles including fixing things, sewing things and generally helping with things!
