The homestead was built between 1862 and 1880 for John Maley (King of the Greenough Flats), miller, storekeeper, hotel proprietor, entrepreneur and father of 14 children. As the Volunteer and Staff Coordinator for the Big Love Festival 2024 (Chenrezig Institute 26-28th September 2024), you’ll be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers and staff to support the successful execution of the event. You’ll ensure all festival volunteers and staff are equipped with the necessary resources and information to fulfil their roles effectively, contributing to a positive and memorable experience for festival attendees.

As the Marketing Manager for the Big Love Festival (Chenrezig Institute, 26-28th September 2024) you will play a vital role in driving ongoing ticket sales through festival promotion and brand awareness through multiple platforms/marketing/communication methods. Branding has already been developed, some early marketing has already begun and tickets are already selling. This role begins asap until end September, following festival wrap up and lessons learnt are documented for future festivals.

The Carnarvon Heritage Precinct are looking for someone to care take at the museum as well as looking for volunteers to help run the museum.

The primary responsibility of the Branch Commissioner Campsites revolves around establishing and maintaining regular communication channels with the Branch Leaders/Wardens overseeing our campsites. Your role goes beyond mere communication; you’ll provide ongoing support, guidance, and resources to the Branch Leaders/Wardens, ensuring they have the necessary tools and information to effectively manage their campsites.

Duties involve greeting customers, general cleaning of shop, window dressing, keeping the different areas; eg books, clothing, etc tidy; serving of tea and coffee and assisting with High Teas. Friday Volunteers needed urgently.

We need volunteers to assist our Collection Manager with the on-going preservation of the Cairns’ important Chinese heritage which includes unique artefacts from the nationally significant Cairns Lit Sung Goong Temple Collection.

Live on-site at the Women's Museum of Australia within the secure walls of the heritage-listed Old Alice Springs Gaol! You must have own caravan, (max 2.9m in height) with own shower and toilet. In exchange, we ask for 6 hours on a Saturday and 6 hours on a Sunday and a few hours per week of general light maintenance duties and roster cover when needed with two days per week off, usually Tuesday and Wednesday.

An onsite painter is needed at Albany's Historic Whaling Station. You may also work in the wildlife park, and you will assist the onsite maintenance team. 5 hours one day a week is required, and you will be paid $40 for your fuel costs. Onsite OH&S Training will be conducted.
