Limbs 4 Life Incorporated is seeking to appoint a volunteer for our Board of Management. We are a dynamic non-profit organisation; established to provide information, support and access to resources for people affected by limb loss. Limbs 4 Life advocate for people with limb loss and their carers to state and federal government departments.

Our Technical Volunteer designs, makes or modifies aids and equipment for people with a disability or the frail aged when there is no commercial solution available. Volunteers undertake project work in their own homes and sheds using their own tools. We are looking for someone who can help with the gardening or groundsman work at the school. The school grounds need regular cleaning, gardening, trimming bushes and trees, leave blowing etc. Ideally the person can also repair small things and help with small tasks like hanging pictures, building small shelves and etc. Preferably supply own tools.

Freedom Wheels is a a program that provides customised bicycles for people with disability. Each bike is individually customised to each client. We have two main roles for this program: Clinic Volunteer- assist with setting up the bikes and equipment for each client assessment. Assist our Occupational Therapist (OT) by taking off and adding on components until the client can safely ride the bike.
