We are seeking new Committee Members to join our Management Committee (Board of Management). Committee Members play an important role in our organisation by providing strategic leadership, governance and decision making to contribute to the achievement of the Centre’s mission, goals and objectives.

U3A is a global education movement, catering for people in their "third" or retirement age. As such, it connects seniors to lifelong learning - broadly catering for anyone over 50 who is interested in studying simply for the joy of learning. We are looking for a long term volunteer to contribute to the practice of the good governance of U3A Southern Gold Coast Inc and assist the President and committee to set and achieve strategic goals. .

Treasurer and Secretary needed for our Meals on Wheels service in Crows Nest in Queensland.

The main objectives of the Board members are: • Custodian or stewardship of all activities of THDC, with the responsibility of governance of the Organisation on behalf of members. • Leadership, forward planning and guidance • Accountability and control: monitor the management of the Organisation and ensure good management practices and appropriate checks and balances are in place.
