As a Volunteer Administration Assistant, you are the ‘face’ of RSPCA, the first person people see when they visit the shelter. In this role, you are responsible for coordinating our very busy reception desk at the shelter; tasks include meeting and greeting customers, assisting with data entry, answering enquiries in person and by phone or email, typing in correspondence and other general office administration tasks.

This role will reach out to new foster carers by phone, who have not responded to emails, to support them through completing the mandatory induction and learning modules prior to the placement of animals into their home.

We require a reliable & competent person with Admin & HR experience to support our Volunteer Coordinator and Admin Staff. You must be • Happy and friendly • Of neat & tidy appearance • Self-motivated with a good work ethic and an eye for detail • Able to work as part of a team, but also work without supervision and use initiative when required. There will be a negotiable period of approx. 4 weeks where you will spend time with the Volunteer team to gain an understanding of the Organisation
