YPRL is seeking a new **Reading Dogs team** to join Thomastown Library. Our Reading Dogs program promotes children’s literacy by having children read aloud to dogs at the library. Our mission is to make reading fun and enjoyable for children so that they become confident and lifelong readers. It is dedicated to the rescue of Australian native animals, including birds and reptiles. WRA operates a national 24/7 emergency call centre for the rescue of native wildlife.

Do you have an interest in working outdoors doing gardening and handyperson activities? Volunteer Groundskeepers are responsible for ensuring the grounds of Community Facilities are kept in a well-maintained condition which contributes to buildings being welcoming to the community. The role includes general garden maintenance using tools such as lawn mower and edge trimmer, maintenance of equipment and the removal and disposal of garden and other waste.

We are looking for someone who can help with the gardening or groundsman work at the school. The school grounds need regular cleaning, gardening, trimming bushes and trees, leave blowing etc. Ideally the person can also repair small things and help with small tasks like hanging pictures, building small shelves and etc. Preferably supply own tools.

Our Volunteer Branches support RSPCA NSW by being able to play a vital part in the rehoming process of animals in various locations in NSW. Being 100% volunteer run, our volunteer branches rely on foster care assistance to house their animals while they wait for adoption, as they have no permanent adoption facility
