Join Lifeline WA in our mission to combat loneliness and social isolation in older aged individuals by establishing and maintaining meaningful friendships and companionships. You will visit older aged persons in their own homes or Aged Care facilities on a regular basis to promote their health and wellbeing.

The purpose of our Home Visit service is to reduce the social isolation of our clients who may be feeling disconnected from their community. Shopping Support Volunteers are needed. There are older people in our community who need the support of a friendly, caring and reliable person to assist them with their grocery shopping. A lovely older lady would like a volunteer to visit her on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for around an hour on a weekly basis either chatting over a cuppa, or going for a drive (she will drive her car) to the shops or the beach. VMCH is currently welcoming volunteers to participate in varied lifestyle activities at St Catherine's Aged care in Balwyn. There are numerous entertainment and lifestyle activities for you to choose to engage one or two residents with and you would provide a wonderful interlude which will enhance a resident's day. We don’t need you to have experience we just want you to be an active part of our team with ideas and enthusiasm and engage with residents to provide fun and entertainment.

VMCH is currently welcoming volunteers to engage with residents who have personalised activities which has been tailored to meet their individual interests, cultural background, and physical abilities, you would provide conversation and assistance to create a wonderful interlude which can enhance a resident's day. We don’t need you to have experience we just want you to be an active part of our team with ideas and enthusiasm and engage with residents to provide fun and entertainment.

An older man living in his own home would like you to visit him. You must be able to converse in Greek and can play board games, chat about Greece and other places of travel, or go for a walk together. Approximately an hour a fortnight or weekly at a time to suit both of you.

4 Voices are looking for team leaders to support our small outreach teams on the Gold Coast. Team leaders need to engage with, coach and manage both volunteer and the outreach shift activities. The commitment required is 3 - 4 hours per week. We are about to launch an outreach service to operate from an off-grid van at various locations on the Gold Coast.
